Thanks to everyone who bought yarn! You guys ROCK! I really appreciate it, and I'll have more for you soon. I've taken off all of the "pending" listings since I didn't hear back from some people, so if there is anything you would like that is now available, just let me know. Again, THANKS everyone!
So yesterday, I taught the girls how to spin and seriously, they got it in 10 minutes. Sheesh, I got it in about three weeks. See what happens when you get old! You can't teach an old dog new tricks, unless you give them three weeks... Ha. So that was fun.
And, I've been doing some spinning myself. Kindof obsessively, but wouldn't you expect that from me?
Here is a fun batt I made and spun with coils. I call it Pink-Snail. About 55 yards. What do I do with this?
This is Merino, silk and various other colors of Merino thrown in making an incredible single of yarn that feels like heaven.
Approx. 375 yards.
And, this is Ruby Necklace, a batt made by one of my friends up in Boulder. Her store is called Red Stone Yarns and she makes some beautiful yarns. You can see this on the bobbin in you scroll back a few posts. I have about 550 yards of laceweight. What to do.... what to do....
And, here are some new fibers that I'll be listing on my new web-site coming soon.
The tip 6 are silk hankies for spinning, and the rest are merino, merino/silk. merino/tencel and a batt. I'll be adding in some funky batts on the site as well.
That's it for today! AND, That's all she wrote! Knit on sistas!
