I bought this cool bowl and four mugs from
a link I found on Annie Modesit's blog, which is not on there now. I
ordered them so long ago that I forgot they were coming. I think in
January. Anyway, since it took her so long to send them she also sent
along two very cute little bowls. I've shown all sides of the mug so
you can see what it looks like. I'm
VERY bummed that I cannot find you the link so you can find them for yourself as well. Can anyone help me out with a link?
The Man comes home today. That means I have to clean up. My house is PERFECT right now. Except my bedroom, and perhaps the "yarn" or "wool" room.
Ummmm.... see that pile of yarn on the floor right there? That's ONE order. It all needs to be reskeined.
The rest of the suff all over that you see are yarn and projects that I've gathered from around the house and plopped in there. Great. And, by the way, no dog or yarn-eating-cat is allowed into this room. AT ALL. This is MY room....
Thank you EVERYONE who wrote me about my yarns through comments, and through emails. I feel really good about it all and how it is working out. Yes, I am opening an Etsy Shop and the prices will be the same as what will be listed in the stores. I am a bit overwhelmed right now. I have 5 accounts, with over 400 skeins of yarn to dye. TOTALLY FUN!!!!! It's all about the creative process.
I'd love to have some pattern support with all of these yarns. I have one designer who is working on a sock pattern, and I think a sweater as well. Would anyone else like to join in? Email me and we can talk...
Pink Ribbon Sock Yarn
Stay tuned for some sock yarn called "Pink Ribbon" for which all the proceeds from both myself and the retailers will be sent to cancer research in honor of a friend of mine going through treatment as well as a double masectomy right now. I'll let you know how you can purchase this yarn as soon as I get it all set up. If you are interested in this pink yarn, just as a show of hands, can you put it in the comments? If not, no problem. I have no idea how many readers that I have, so it's not scientific, but I thought I'd ask... Here's a peek at the yarn...
